Running to Stand Still: Migrants Search for Hope in the Promise Land

  • George Eastman Museum 900 East Avenue Rochester, NY, 14607 United States (map)

Join us for an inspiring evening of film and conversation with Worldwide Documentaries, Inc. Running to Stand Still: Migrants Search for Hope in the Promised Land

This powerful documentary explores the resilience and struggles of migrants striving for safety, dignity, and opportunity in the United States. Following the screening, stay for a Town Hall-style panel moderated by journalist Gary Craig. We’re proud to share that our Executive Director, Irene Sanchez, will be a panelist, representing Enlace and the voices of immigrant and farmworker communities. She will be joined by local leaders working to shape Rochester’s response to migration, inclusion, and justice, including Mayor Malik Evans, Councilmembers Mitch Gruber and Miguel Meléndez, Mary Andrecolich-Montesano, and Jim Morris.

Be part of this meaningful conversation about migration, humanity, and hope in our region.
